This filter is installed in the braking circuit of the landing gear. The primary function of the HP filter Type AD24 is to capture the potential presence of contaminations (particles, metallic chips…) in the braking circuit. HP Filter Type AD24 has been redesigned to meet the new pressure specification given by Airbus (225bars versus the initial 206bars). Embodiment of SB is recommended to avoid fatigue of the head filter that can lead to apparition of cracks between the outlet and inlet circuit.
