Special Instructions
On some engines the cooling fins may interfere with thumb screw when adaptor is installed in spark plug hole. A set screw is provided if this is encountered, or any short 10-32 screw can work. Some engines have spark plug holes at an angle and extreme care must be used. Do not push indicator plunger up with piston or damage may result which is not covered by warranty. On any engine where spark plug hole is at an angle it is necessary to compensate to get the correct setting.
